Hasid. It was featured by the Jewish Book Club in
November 1999 as a dual selection, paired with Rabbi

On the Mystical Shape of the Godhead: Basic concepts in Kabbalah
by Gershom Scholem, has an excellent chapter in reincarnation
from a Jewish perspective, as well as chapters on the astral body,
soul groups, the Shekhinah, etc. Long available in Hebrew and
German, it was only recently (1995) translated into English, and is
now out in paperback, Grab a copy now -- well worth the price for
the reincarnation chapter alone.
