The sole purpose of this genealogy web page is for me to share with my family what I have learned about my father's family history.

My father started researching his family several years ago, BC, before computers. When I inherited the project computers and the internet made the gathering of information much easier. But....as a novice genealogist, I didn't recognize the importance of documenting all sources. Therefore, much of the data I collected is from assorted internet sites and I don't know the source or accuracy of the information.

Among the information my dad had collected was a short typed manuscript entitled "The Name and Family of Hitchcock" which seems to be a generic history of the Hitchcock name. This article is not dated and was compiled by the Media Research Bureau, Washington D.C.

Here is the story of Joe Call, my 3rd Great grandfather, and a very interesting character!
