When you pick up your puppy upon arrival |
|
Once full payment is made, we verify with you name and address as it appears on valid Picture I. D. and the phone number where the airlines can reach you during your puppy's travel. We also discuss the most convenient time and day for your puppy to arrive. We then make all the arrangements for all paperwork to meet airline requirements and book a flight (direct if possible) as close to the time frame we discuss. see Continental U.S. Shipping Requirements, Fees and Costs see European Shipping Requirements, Fees and Costs Once full arrangements have been made you receive - departure and arrival times - flight number - a tracking number and phone number to confirm shipping arrangements have been made. With your tracking number you can also follow your puppy's journey during his/her travel.

Your puppy generally does not arrive in the same area as passengers arrive. He/She will be at the Cargo Counter, please call your local airport and check where the Cargo Counter is located (this is not always the same building) We recommend giving the airlines between 30 and 45 minutes after scheduled arrival time to bring your puppy off the plane, check his/her paperwork and have him/her ready for pick up. Depending on the flight length and the age of the puppy, there may have been an "accident" during the flight. We suggest bringing some baby wipes and/or paper towels in case clean up is necessary. There will be a collar with your puppy (attached to the crate in envelope to prevent accidental choking) but please bring a leash. Even if puppy has messed his/her crate you should plan on stopping and letting puppy walk around and potty as soon as possible. When you arrive home, do not just set puppy down with out a leash in an unconfined yard. As familiar as your home is to you, your puppy does not know where he/she is. (see other Bringing Puppy Home hints and suggestions) We deeply appreciate word of safe arrival within the first day or two. We love him/her too!
